Paiute ATV Trail Ride
This weekend my brother and his family came down from Highland, UT for a visit. The boys really wanted to go for an ATV ride so we decided to try one of the many paiute ATV trails near my home. This one took us onto the top of Cove Mountain where there are a bunch of radio and cell towers. The view of the sevier valley was amazing from that altitude and the air was crisp and cool. We hiked around a bit to get the blood pumping and then headed back down the mountain. On the way back down we saw a few mule deer and a golden eagle cruisingbeneath us. The ATV’s performed well and I was glad to discover a reserve tank on my Honda Recon when I ran out of gas on the way home.
The terrain waseasy riding and the views perfectwith quaking aspens and ponderosa pines shrowding the peaks around us. We are looking forward to the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree that is hosted in our small town of Richfield, UT. The jamboree is the premier ATV jamboree in the country with organized trail rides, events, and ATV products show. Most of the major ATV manufactures display their latest 4 wheelers and ATV accessories. We will be helping out this year with the Lady’s Day Ride over to Kanosh where we will help fix them a delicious dutch-oven lunch.
